Human Dignity Tanzania has already acquired land at the Regional Cost which is about 150 km from Dar es Salaam the business city where we are planning to build a rehab and retreat centre for children of prisoners and ex-prisoners to do the retreat. A camp experience can change a people life forever. Kibiti Rehab and retreat center is a chance for children of incarcerated parents and detainees who completed their sentence to get away from their daily challenges and have fun in the great outdoors, making new friends and meeting caring counselors. Through prison rehab centre will help to enhance prison-based effective rehabilitation and social reintegration programmes in our country with a focus on access to educational, vocational and work programmes to increase prisoners' skills and employability upon release.
We have already officiated the program to the district of Kibiti in attendance of people around Fua and Makima village in the presence of villages management committee. The main aim of this Kibiti Rehab and retreat centre is to help people to reduce and relieve stress. Effective stress management helps to break the hold stress has on person’s life, so you can be happier, healthier, and more productive. The centre will have professional who will teach people about balanced life, with time for work, relationships, relaxation, and fun. Ex female prisoner, children of prisoners and prisoners families will be provided free of charge therefore relies on your support.
